This is a magical place! The Festival Institute at Round Top is a year-round educational institute that offers a variety of internationally recognized performances for people of all ages amongst a broad range of cultural services that include not only concerts, but recordings, films, forums in history, museum topics, decorative arts, architecture, landscaping and garden and herbal history.

Festival Hill is a creation of the Institute's artistic director, world renowned pianist, James Dick. The campus is a wonderland with a remarkable history.

Stone bridges, beautiful herb gardens, grand old Victorian homes, immaculately restored and filled with museum quality treasures, all grace the grounds. A spectacular performance hall, surrounded by inspired landscapes, hosts a bevy of world class performers.

Each year, students from all over the world apply to participate in a variety of educational programs including a summer session with the Texas Festival Orchestra.
